Rakel
Icelandic artist RAKEL creates music that feels like memory: intimate, atmospheric, and quietly powerful. Blending voice, field recordings, and emotion, her sound blurs the line between song and landscape. Since her debut Nothing Ever Changes (2021), RAKEL has become a distinctive voice in Iceland’s music scene, performing with artists such as Nanna (Of Monsters and Men), Axel Flóvent, and Kaktus Einarsson.
Her album a place to be (OPIA Community, 2025), co-created with Danish producer Sara Flindt, transforms real places, from an Icelandic farm to a Copenhagen dorm, into sonic worlds where every sound tells a story. Aside from her debut album, Rakel worked with Ólafur Arnalds’ Sunrise Session III, features on song “A Dawning” with Ólafur, Sandrayati and Salóme Katrín.
RAKEL will tour in 2026 supporting Of Monsters and Men.

Spacestation
Spacestation hovers around the edges of Reykjavik's rock venues and bars, beaming up every jagged guitar riff, jogging bass line, and angular feedback noise they can lay their hands on.
Like Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, and My Bloody Valentine before them, Spacestation aspire to redefine what noise can be within the context of pop music.
Their music combines inventive use of alternate tunings, guitar strumming and feedback, with the intensity of shoegaze, catchy Krautrock rhythms, and the attitude of 60s psychedelia, to create a new, jogging, sonic landscape that makes you waste away insightful nights dancing with strangers.
