Yrsa Sigurðardóttir is one of Iceland's most celebrated crime and thriller writers, with work translated into more than thirty languages. Born and raised in Reykjavík, she is the author of the Thóra Gudmundsdóttir series, the Huldar and Freyja novels, and several standalone thrillers, and her horror novel I Remember You became a number one film in Iceland. Alongside her writing she works as a senior partner at one of the country's largest engineering consultancies, and she co-founded Iceland Noir with Ragnar in 2013.
Ragnar Jónasson is an internationally bestselling Icelandic crime writer whose books have been published in more than thirty countries. Born in Reykjavík, he translated fourteen Agatha Christie novels into Icelandic before turning to his own fiction, and his Dark Iceland series and the standalone bestseller The Darkness have been adapted for television. He co-founded the Iceland Noir festival in 2013.
