LungA is an intimate festival celebrating creativity, arts, and culture through a rich program of workshops, lectures, and events.

Renowned locally and internationally for its vibrant atmosphere, high-quality workshops, and the infectious enthusiasm of its participants, LungA has become a cherished tradition. Over the years, it has fostered joy, self-discovery, new lovers, new friends, and countless warm memories.

This year's theme, 'SPIRAL,' pays tribute to the incredible talent, friends, and supporters who have been part of LungA's journey. As we celebrate our rich history, we invite LungA's extended family, friends, and contributors to join us. We honor the festival's legacy and the creative spirit that has flourished over the past 25 summers, passing the baton to the next grassroots cultural phenomenon.

The final LungA Art Festival promises a diverse and exciting lineup. On Saturday, July 20, we will celebrate with a day filled with music from talented artists like Bashar Murad, Hjaltalín, Tara Mobee, Reykjavík!, BLOSSI, and many beloved Icelandic bands, alongside local groups and exciting new acts. The festivities will kick off on Friday with exhibitions and performances throughout the town. Enjoy a tattoo convention in the Seyðisfjörður community space, an artist market, and surprise performances and happenings throughout the week.

Join in the vibrant celebration! Tickets for the Saturday concert are available on tix.is, and the entire program on LungA'a Instagram and website.
