After a two-year hiatus, Reykjavik will celebrate Culture Night on August 20th, 2022. While the event has "night" in the description, there are events throughout the day—starting with the Islandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon in the morning. The event is created by and for the city's residents. It occurs across central Reykjavik, with celebrations in the streets, squares, museums, businesses, and even residential gardens!
